Glen Etive

It takes 40 minutes to drive from the main road to the lochside - single-track road all the way and the odd fisherman hunched beside the river, white-washed cottages every couple of miles. Loch Etive is glassy as a mirror and fun to jump into in welly-boots ^^

  2. Of course! I can't tell you how peaceful it is there. The sound of the stags bellowing from the peaks above reverborate around the glens in the autumn and other than that the silence is near to absolute - at night you can see a million stars and the moon is so bright the hills turn silver and you cast a shadow as you walk.
